This application aims to assist individuals with a common visual impairment: color blindness. Its design is inspired by the work of Miguel Neiva, a Portuguese designer who developed a visual color coding system in 2010.
Functionality:
- Similar to a digital color picker, users can point their device's camera at an object or area of interest to receive immediate analysis of its color and shade.
- Users have the option to tap on the target to lock in the selection, preserving the color analysis on the screen for further reference.
- For those interested in understanding Neiva’s color coding system, swiping left provides access to an interactive color puzzle designed for educational engagement.
- To experience the environment as a person with complete color blindness might, swiping right activates a monochrome mode, simulating a colorless view of the world around you.
